We’re Trev and Lesley, the team behind Digital Bothy — a Scotland-based studio dedicated to helping travel, hospitality, and small businesses tell their story online.
Between us, we have decades of experience in tourism, lifestyle, and small business marketing, and we’ve spent that time learning what makes brands stand out — and what doesn’t.
We started Digital Bothy because we wanted to combine our creative skills with our practical know-how: designing beautiful websites, creating authentic content, and building strategies that actually work. About Lesley
Hello, I’m Lesley — the website designer, photographer, and content creator behind Digital Bothy. Based in Scotland, I specialise in helping travel, hospitality, and lifestyle brands tell their stories online in a way that feels authentic and drives real results.
I’ve spent more than a decade working in the tourism and travel sector, beginning as a travel blogger showcasing boutique hotels, restaurants, and tourism boards in Scotland (and occasionally beyond).
Along the way, I’ve developed a sharp eye for the details that make destinations memorable — from the textures of a tasting menu to the character of a hotel suite.
When my clients began asking for help not just with photography, but also with their websites, I realised what they were looking for: a simple, stress-free way to bring everything together. That’s how Digital Bothy was born.
Today, I create SEO-friendly websites, compelling copy, and visual content that give hotels, cafes, distilleries, and other independent businesses the online presence they deserve.

Hi, I’m Trev — the techie one at Digital Bothy. While Lesley focuses on Squarespace design and digital marketing, I take care of the techy stuff.
When it comes to Squarespace, I can integrate 3rd party systems such as booking platforms, write custom JavaScript or CSS, or set-up your domain & email.
As a .NET / SQL Server developer of over 25 years, I can build custom software solutions, integrate systems and design databases.
I can also advise on selecting technology solutions to ensure that your digital set-up is working hard for you and your customers.
My technology experience ranges from big-name multi-nationals to small, independent businesses. I’ve also set-up and ran numerous businesses myself, so I understand the financial and time constraints that small businesses have.
